Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften
On October 24th, our group represented the institute of optics at the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften (‚Long Night of Science‘). As a phenomenon fundamental to quantum optics, we illustrated the wave-particly-duality to many interested visitors. Experiments like the photoelectic effect, Young’s double slit experiment and others as well as further going discussions about modern fields of physics like e.g. quantum computing, have been provided to show the large stream of guests how interesting physics is.
