The „Nürnberger Nachrichten“ interviewed Joachim von Zanthier regarding his PhD supervisor, Alain Aspect, who got the Nobel Price in Physics 2022 „for experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell inequalities and pioneering quantum information science“. From his time as a PhD with Alain Aspect, Joachim recalls: „He is a bold researcher, in discussions he takes the floor and asks many questions.“
